October's Polish Party: Halloween...
It's been a while since the Polish Party has been participated in! Don't know why they've been missed but loved making this simple manicure that's suitable for this months theme. You'll have probably guessed it by the look of the nails, it's Halloween themed. Time to dust off the old crackle polishes and give them a whirl in deep dark Halloween colours.
This combination of polishes creates a great, simple Halloween effect. There's no need to get overloaded with possible designs and ways of trying to make them, the combination of a polish and crackle does the trick. Jessica's Winter Berries was the best base colour seeing as it's a deep red and Barry M's 311 Nail Effects was the perfect top crackle colour as it's dark black. Combining to make a dark crackly effect! Anyone going to try the simple method? Or are you making all the stops for this Halloween?!
p.s. Today's post was a little surprise in order to join in with the Polish Party, normal postings will resume after this one!

The crackle works really well for a simple halloween effect. I'll be posting mine soon for the Polish Party! x
ReplyDeleteCrackle is brilliant for a simple Halloween effect, also everyday effects - may be using them more often... :)
DeleteI love the color combination! That red is a perfect companion to the black!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is, I think it's because it's a darker red not a bright red. Crackle is growing on me again...
