October's Polish Party: Halloween...

It's been a while since the Polish Party has been participated in! Don't know why they've been missed but loved making this simple manicure that's suitable for this months theme. You'll have probably guessed it by the look of the nails, it's Halloween themed. Time to dust off the old crackle polishes and give them a whirl in deep dark Halloween colours.

It's almost here and it's the best time of the year, do you know what it is?! It's the season of autumn and it's the best because you get to layer up in loads of snuggly clothes so you're nice and toastie. Also autumn has all the best colours as well, they're all nice deep and rich colours, today's going to be the top picks of polishes worn this season. Come and see...

An Autumn Release: Barry M's Chai.

 

It's such a nice neutral colour! Even though it does look a little plain from the offset, it definitely is very elegant on the nails making it very acceptable to wear to a place of work. Sadly this isn't the case for me as it's plain nails only - a girl can dream though? Shall we move onto some more sophisticated photographs of the brilliant polish named Chai.

Barry M's Autumn Collection. (Just a few.)

Aren't these just lovely colours for autumn, not too in your face. Nice and simple, they are from the lovely Barry M as part of the Autumn collection. You may have noticed that the whole Autumn collection isn't all here, there's one missing seeing as it'll probably never be worn again so there's no need to purchase it. (That's a new mantra.) Anyway there are five others from the collection so there isn't load missing, let's get onto more photographs of these polishes.

First Pick and Mix Challenge: Texture!

Hasn't it been ages since there's been an entry to a nail polish challenge, for some reason today was entry a design day. It's been brilliant so far, you may be seeing some more entries for the Pick and Mix Challenge as it's so easy. Just pick which weeks you want to enter, maybe give it a go yourself? Trying a Different Brand: NYC's Peacock.

 

NYC isn't a new brand to myself, it's been tested before and the results from the polish which only cost £1.79 have been very unexpected. Other brands have been shining brighter than NYC on previous shopping trips, so it's been ignored. But yesterday NYC (Is that what it's called? Or is it something else...) was calling out and a few where picked up on the buy one get one half price deal. Here's the very pleasing results:

Revlon Parfumerie is here!

The lovely looking and hopefully great smelling polishes from Revlon are appearing some time soon... There's been some instagram hints about these little bottles for some time now, but now they will be gracing the nails instead of just in nail polish bottle pictures. The smells range from Autumn Spice to Spun Sugar so they'll be something for everyone, shall we take a closer look?

They've been found! You thought maybe I'd see less of them now that I've moved to university but they've been weaselled out - it's the poundshops. So you'll still be seeing regular updates on the little bargains which have been located, and today's no exception with Rimmel's Luna Love from the Space Dust collection. It's so sparkly and pretty.
