Last Minute Adjustment: Purple Reflects! and Snow Globe
This polish looks very much like a going out on the town combination, but reassurances it's not. When painting Purple Reflects! on to the nails it just didn't seem quite right like there was something missing, in the end it was decided the manicure needed glitter. Snow Globe was chosen as there was a need to test this one out as the other Sally Hansen glitters had been so successful. It wasn't sticking to the polishes list that had been created, the deviation was worth it!
The glitter seems to even out the metallic effect of Purple Reflects! that aren't really a favourite effect at the moment, crème polishes are much more popular both with myself and fashion. Sadly application of Purple Reflects! was a total faff as the brush was a maxi brush but about double the size of a normal maxi brush. It was far too large for the nails, meaning painting the finger as well as the nails. Nail polish remover was needed for careful removal of excess. Apart from that problem, Purple Reflects! was a lovely coloured polish and nicely opaque as well as Snow Globe going successfully as the glitter evened itself out and was relatively easy to remove. Do you guys like this combination? Probably look much nicer in the autumn/winter season, maybe it'll reappear nearer to the time.

Gorgeous manicure! I've not seen this Sally Hansen glitter before but it looks beautiful over the base colour you have chosen :) xx
ReplyDeleteThanks, Snow Globe is a lovely glitter polish - really easy to apply. It's a definite recommendation! :)

ReplyDeleteI agree - it's so pretty in the bottle! All the glitter floating around which sparkles.
