I'm severely sorry for the lack of postings for almost the last month but I do promise there is someone still posting amounts of nail polish photographs! They are currently appearing on Instagram in individual form but they'll also being returning to the proper blog in the near future with all the details. Once again sorry, we'll be seeing each other again very soon...

Back by Popular Demand: Sally Hansen's Jet Set Jade.

Sally Hansen's Insta-Dry collection is always in fashion here, seeing as they are always pretty colours and very easy to apply! Therefore when they reappeared within the local Poundshop, a few polishes just had to be 'selected for review on the blog'. Just kidding, only for my own personal polish collection. Today's polish is a lovely green and mix colour mix that's a metallic shimmer overall. It's called Jet Set Jade. 

A Selection of the Very Best Greens!

This is a blog post I thought wouldn't ever happen, yet the stash of nail polishes has grown considerably even the green section. Wondering if there will ever be a best of yellow polishes... Probably not, even I don't love yellow that much. Do you guys have a colour that's not heavily feature in you polish collection? It's going to be a totally pink post today, so very typically girly which isn't normal. But it needed to be done seeing as there's been Top Picks posts for nearly every other colour in the massive stash, I wouldn't want to deprive you guys of your pink fix! Also these polishes are some of my favourites and are worn quite regularly, it's just putting them all together makes it seem too girly.

First Pick and Mix Challenge: Texture!

Hasn't it been ages since there's been an entry to a nail polish challenge, for some reason today was entry a design day. It's been brilliant so far, you may be seeing some more entries for the Pick and Mix Challenge as it's so easy. Just pick which weeks you want to enter, maybe give it a go yourself? Top Picks from... The Poundshops!

It seems that this little nail polish blog is forever going on about the bargain polishes which can be found in the Poundshops (Poundland, Poundworld, 99p Stores etc.) and raving about how brilliant they are. Yet never really picking out polishes that are favourites in their own right, instead blaming it all on the price and where it's from. So today's going to be some picks of brilliant polishes which have by coincidence come from these shops...

Last Minute Adjustment: Purple Reflects! and Snow Globe

This polish looks very much like a going out on the town combination, but reassurances it's not. When painting Purple Reflects! on to the nails it just didn't seem quite right like there was something missing, in the end it was decided the manicure needed glitter. Snow Globe was chosen as there was a need to test this one out as the other Sally Hansen glitters had been so successful. It wasn't sticking to the polishes list that had been created, the deviation was worth it!

Sister's Manicure Treat: Let's Get Lost and 3, 2, 1derland!

As soon as my sister arrived home, a manicure was requested. When anyone in the family is going out for the day or night, a manicure by myself is now part of the getting ready routine which is lovely to do and there's swatch photographs that benefit you guys also. Today's a first appearance from the Essence collection and trust me it definitely wont disappoint...

These Nail Of The Day posts are becoming ever more popular to do seeing as it's showing the everyday look of the nails. A week ago a collection of polishes were promised to be swatched upon this little blog and here another nail of the day combination is. Sadly not all of the polishes promised will be up really soon as someone forgot to photograph all the lovely painted nails... so they'll have to be done again in the near future which isn't a problem as they were all lovely! Let's get on to today's nails that have been done properly...

It's returned, the weekly update of polishes about to be used. Last week this post seemed to be very popular, being nosy into the polishes nail bloggers actually use compared to the featured blog posts. It's something which would be popular with myself. Yet this week there will be photographs of all the swatches as I won't be able to forget like last week! Right onto the individual polishes:

These polishes are such fun! Sugar Coat is a collection of texturized polishes so they appear to have a layer of sugar across them, making them very popular. Some Brilliant But Underrated Nail Polish Brands.

 

Today is a showcase for the brilliant polishes held within the giant stash, that can sometimes be neglected or overlooked either by myself or the general nail polish community. They are very opaque polishes, easy to apply and overall long lasting on the nails. You want to see these polishes? Okay, here we go...

Easy nail art: Three Waves.

It's no secret that nail art makes rare appearances on this little blog but today is an exception. This is a simple nail art combination which has been used by many nail bloggers so I can't sadly pinpoint where this design came from - it certainly wasn't me! Spring has come to a close soon however my colour choice radar hasn't realised this yet, they are still a great love so they are going to appear today:

Aren't they a cute combination!? Well they are all pastels so they were all going to match anyway. They are 702 Marshmallow Heaven - Rimmel, 100 Pink Blink - Sally Hansen Insta-Dry and Huckleberry - Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine.  So onto the base coat and then the design!

Purple has taken over.

The Sugar Coats Return: 250 Spare A Mint?

Today's a swatch day and it's a reappearance from one of the many notorious Poundshop hauls that I've secretly been on. As well as this it's a returning favourite of mine which has been featured heavily in the past - even had a mini series found here. It's the Sugar Coat polishes! 

This lovely looking teal polish is called 250 Spare A Mint? by Sally Hansen in the Sugar Coat collection. As mentioned it's teal nail polish that's a tad darker than the normal teal colours as it's more on the blue than green-ish side. It's a special effect polish due to the fact it's texturized to look like your nails have had a coating of sugar on them! Let's get onto the swatches which we are all here for:

10 Amazing Polishes in £10!



It's a brilliant way to find amazing products at the poundshops which have been springing up on the highstreet especially nail polishes. However it's not so good when they are swatched once for this little blog and then disappear forever into the stash never to be seen again. So today's going to be the 10 makeup products in £10 tag but with a little Addicted to nails... twist:

It's going to be 10 polishes which add up to exactly £10 seeing as 90% of these chosen polishes were purchased in the poundshops! Except one which came from a local 99p shop instead. Just to say this post isn't bragging about the bargains which have been claimed and also doesn't mean you should all run out and spend all you hard earn pennies in the poundshops either. Okay? Here we go:

Flying Visit Nail Art: Pink Blink by Sally Hansen and Snow Me White by Sinful Colors

It's a flying visit today with some nail art but not a lot of text sadly. In my news feed there was some lovely Lace Nail Art by the brilliant Handtastic Intentions, which I just needed to have on my nails therefore an attempt was made:

These polishes are the ones used in this pretty little manicure. They are Pink Blink by Sally Hansen and Snow Me White by Sinful Colors. They were used due to the fact they are complimentary colours! Here's the actual manicure:

May Polish Favourites

It's the end of May and the start of June which hopefully means summer weather coming into full swing. However today's post is going to mark the end of May with a little favourites post seeing as there has been many polishes which have been especially loved during May. So I thought I'd pass on the wonders of these little bottles.
