Getting Fed Up Yet? Three Wave Skittle Manicure.

Three wave manicures are just that easy! Sorry they've appeared a lot recently on the blog but there's no real brains required behind this nail art design. The only thing you need is three nice colours. Yet there is a difference in today's version of the three wave manicure as there may be some accent nails which contain dots, follow me if you'd like to see some more...

Top Picks from... The Poundshops!

It seems that this little nail polish blog is forever going on about the bargain polishes which can be found in the Poundshops (Poundland, Poundworld, 99p Stores etc.) and raving about how brilliant they are. Yet never really picking out polishes that are favourites in their own right, instead blaming it all on the price and where it's from. So today's going to be some picks of brilliant polishes which have by coincidence come from these shops...

NOTD combination again: Midnight Rendezvous and Fa-la-la-lavender.

These Nail Of The Day posts are becoming ever more popular to do seeing as it's showing the everyday look of the nails. Because really nail art is a once every one to two weeks appearance as they are a lot of work and time. What do you guys think of these posts? Yay or nay? As your comments always lead the way. Shall we lead the way to some more photos...

NOTD: Make a Splash By Rimmel and Alley Attitude by Maybelline.

As promised it's the first manicure of the week, which has been organised just so you guys don't miss out on your nail polish fixes. Today's nails is a combination of a normal coloured crème polish with a special effect topper. The topper was bought because it looked so amazing yet hasn't been used therefore it was top of the 'to swatch' list. Let's see some more of this lovely combination:

A little update and a sneak peak at the upcoming manicures!

The last few weeks have been a little sporadic so a little update was well overdue. The reasoning for the schedule some times getting missed is that work is currently being changed as well as personally switching jobs at the same time - just a little hectic to say the least! So today's a promise for more swatches and post as well as reassurance through a sneak peek at what's coming up soon...

A litte dotty nail art: Grey Matter and Blue Eyed Girl by Rimmel with Kiwi by Barry M

The last two or three days has been lovely weather so much so that I've been sat outside in the sun doing work instead of wasting the summer sun by sitting inside. And today's nail polish post has been no exception to the new work space. It probably inspired the manicure rather than hindering it. So let's get into detail over today's nail art!

A Fresh Bright Blue: Rimmel's Too Cool To Tango

Today is Saturday and this is going to be a swatch post, making this swatch Saturday! It's another Rimmel polish which was done by pure accident, it's not pure love and I promise some different brands next week for a change. Too Cool To Tango is a brilliant pastel blue with a slight edge seeing as it's a little bit brighter than a normal pastel making it perfect for summer. (Instead of the spring pastels.) Shall we see more of this lovely polish?

A Few Favourites: Rimmel!

Seeing as Rimmel may have appeared in a little rave about underrated polishes recently, I thought would be a brilliant idea to demonstrate total love for the brand by showing a few favourites that are regularly used. Therefore confirming my appreciation. As well as this, the colours involved are very much summer orientated so can be used from now until the first sign of autumn. So shall we get down to it?

May Polish Favourites

It's the end of May and the start of June which hopefully means summer weather coming into full swing. However today's post is going to mark the end of May with a little favourites post seeing as there has been many polishes which have been especially loved during May. So I thought I'd pass on the wonders of these little bottles.

Another Colour Adventure: Grey Matter by Rimmel 60 Seconds

Recently the colours of polishes featured in these little posts have been getting ever more adventurous compared to my usual colour palette. Today is no exception. It's not an in colour at the moment compared to neon pastels, however it was picked up at a car-boot sale for the grand price of 20p. A risk even I can take on a bottle of polish...
But I will admit that if this had been in a shop, it probably wouldn't of been purchased as it's not a colour of choice. Hopefully this little swatching session will make me see the light! The polish is called Grey Matter from the 60 Seconds collection by Rimmel. It's a light grey in colour as the name suggests and it could even fit in with the pastel type trend. Here's the first coat:

Blogosphere hype made me buy it...

It can't totally be blamed on the blogosphere, it's also my lack of willpower not to buy more nail polishes. But seeing as the famous 3 for 2 on all make-up was on at Boots, as well as having a double voucher, the opportunity to get some current nail polishes (instead of £1 shop polishes) couldn't be missed. Therefore a little list was made and off I went to the high-street.
This purchase will come as no surprise seeing as everybody on Bloglovin' has been in love with these new editions to the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine collection as they are brilliant polishes in their own right and they are especially great colours for the arrival of spring. Their names are; 21 Sugar Apple, 19 Huckleberry and 20 Rose Hip - a skittle of these polishes is definitely in the piping line.

Polka Dot Gradient Design - Guest Post!

One of this year's new years resolutions was to stick to a posting schedule so that the lovely readers know what to expect and don't get confused, however today's an exception to this rule. The exception comes in the form of a polka dot gradient design created with the famous dotting tools.

In order to see this little rule breaker post with my little ramblings, you'll have to pop over to the brilliant The Sequined Nail and click on Guest Post: Grace from Addicted to Nails.... It's definitely worth your while as The Sequined Nail has been followed by myself ever since the beginning giving brilliant nail polish designs and inspiration! And finally this doesn't mean you'll be seeing less posts this week as an exception has been made. :)

Bargains at the carboot sale...

Getting up at ridiculous hours before my 9 o'clock shift on a Sunday morning is something I am currently prepared to do in order to get some bargains in return - crazy I know. This is due to a popular thing called a car boot sale  where anything and everything can be found. Last Sunday, the early mornings paid off as I managed to find some fabulous nail polish bargains which you may of seen briefly here on my Instagram page... But here's the full low down on what was purchased!
