Very British Muted Pink: Revlon's Vintage Rose.

It's just occurred that we've recently had another polish on the blog with Rose within the title, but I can confirm that they are completely different and lovely polishes. So don't get them mixed up or you'd be missing out on both their brilliances! Featured today is one of the Revlon Colourstay polishes that have been recently accumulated within the local Poundshops, it's a lovely muted and mature pink. There's more of it's loveliness through this way...

Natural Not In Your Face Pink: Essence's English Rose

Yet another Essence nail polish is making an appearance, they are just too likeable. This one is no exception. It's called English Rose, it's not your typical pink polish. Instead of being a bright pink or a baby pink, it's a mature pink. You're probably thinking that you've heard this all before (probably from Addicted To Nails...) but here's the picture proof and hopefully that will convince the disbelievers.

Perfect Pinks.

It's going to be a totally pink post today, so very typically girly which isn't normal. But it needed to be done seeing as there's been Top Picks posts for nearly every other colour in the massive stash, I wouldn't want to deprive you guys of your pink fix! Also these polishes are some of my favourites and are worn quite regularly, it's just putting them all together makes it seem too girly.

Bright and Cheerful: NYC's Spring Tulip.

In the midst of all the autumn coloured polishes, here's a little refreshment from NYC's Spring Tulip polish. Instead of autumn browns, purples and navies here's a nice bright coral that's got heavy hints of pink to lighten up your day. This polish is still available before you ask whether it is, I wouldn't be mean on purpose and show you a polish that's recently been discontinued. Let's get onto some more photographs of this cute polish.

Sparkly and Pretty: Rimmel's Luna Love

They've been found! You thought maybe I'd see less of them now that I've moved to university but they've been weaselled out - it's the poundshops. So you'll still be seeing regular updates on the little bargains which have been located, and today's no exception with Rimmel's Luna Love from the Space Dust collection. It's so sparkly and pretty.

Summer Throwback: Papaya by Barry M.

Technically you can call this a throwback as this colour wasn't worn in summer as it was purchased in September, yet it's been loved at the moment despite the fact it's a total summer colour. Maybe it's just because we're all wishing for summer to return? Definitely true in this case... Anyway onto yet more lovely polishes close ups:

Weekly Update No.4

It's that time of the week again, for the nail polish updates! This week hasn't been toned down for you guys, it's got some bright neon polishes as well as pastel and bold pink polishes which is also texturized. (A very popular effect at the moment, currently converting my sister to this one.) Onto the polishes and their names then..

Bright and Bold: OPI's Dim Sum Plum

It's finally here, ready and swatched for your viewing pleasure. It's OPI! Isn't it just so pretty, the fuss that's been made over OPI polish may have finally reached Addicted To Nails... Today's appearance is a lovely bright pink crème, probably the best sort of colour for the summer season we've been seeing. This polish is called Dim Sum Plum, there's some more photographs to show off it's beauty this way:

Another brand feature: Essence is coming!

It's going to be appearing on this little blog, after a few colours just happened to be picked up whilst out in town the other day after venturing into Wilkinson's to check they were there and they were! Aren't these just so cute? They all look lovely colours for the summer season that is currently upon us especially the Sparkle Sand effect one, can't wait to see if any of the other 'trend' polishes are released locally.

Venture into OPI...

OPI as a brand of nail polishes has always been the dream seeing as they are always raved about by many nail polish bloggers and normal bloggers alike. However the price tag as well as the availability has always put me off seeing as it doesn't really seem worth it despite many lovely blog photographs and posts disagreeing. But recently some OPI's have been picked up locally at a fraction of the retail price therefore they are going to be tried...

Easy nail art: Three Waves.

It's no secret that nail art makes rare appearances on this little blog but today is an exception. This is a simple nail art combination which has been used by many nail bloggers so I can't sadly pinpoint where this design came from - it certainly wasn't me! Spring has come to a close soon however my colour choice radar hasn't realised this yet, they are still a great love so they are going to appear today:
Aren't they a cute combination!? Well they are all pastels so they were all going to match anyway. They are 702 Marshmallow Heaven - Rimmel, 100 Pink Blink - Sally Hansen Insta-Dry and Huckleberry - Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine.  So onto the base coat and then the design!

Going out on the town material: Rose Chic by Maybelline Colour Show

There's always those evenings that you are going out celebrating with friends and family - an occasion. When you've got painted nails but they just don't quite cut it for the event. Here's the polish to fill that gap, it's relatively new release and it's amazing for the amount of effort put in for the result that you receive. This little polish is called Rose Chic from the collection Crystallize by Maybelline Colour Show:

Flying Visit Nail Art: Pink Blink by Sally Hansen and Snow Me White by Sinful Colors

It's a flying visit today with some nail art but not a lot of text sadly. In my news feed there was some lovely Lace Nail Art by the brilliant Handtastic Intentions, which I just needed to have on my nails therefore an attempt was made:
These polishes are the ones used in this pretty little manicure. They are Pink Blink by Sally Hansen and Snow Me White by Sinful Colors. They were used due to the fact they are complimentary colours! Here's the actual manicure:

Appearance of another duotone: Mediterranean by Barry M

When this collection first appeared, the hype didn't really reach myself as duotones haven't gone down well in the past. However once this polish was swatched, I was completely converted to duotones as it really appear to be two colours at once as well as having a lot of staying power on the nails. The amazing collection which has converted the feelings towards duotones is Barry M's Aquarium collection. And today is going to feature another one of these lovely polishes:
Now it's a little different from the usual nail polish palette which are normally swatched but I promise you it's a great colour choice. It's called Mediterranean from Aquarium collection by Barry M, the duotone effect is between orange and a rose gold. (sort of - not really any other way to describe it!) It appears metallic orange in everyday light and then the rose gold appears when moving your hands and in brighter light. Shall we go ahead and see the swatches?

May's Polish Party: Splatter!

It's nearly the end of the month which means it's time for another Polish Party post, which is a brilliant thing to participate in! This month's theme is splatter which took more than one attempt at Addicted to Nails... to make. Creating splatter through using a straw was attempted however it never seem to come out very well - there was a lot of large dollops of nail polish. Therefore another design was created, first the base colour:

First Coral Polish: Instyle Coral by Rimmel

Good evening readers! Today's been a finish off posts to put up day which has gone quite well actually. Normally it's filled with procrastination. Do you have those days ever? Today's nails are a new thing due to the colour is relatively new to me as it appear when doing the GOT challenges. Here it is:
Pretty!? Coral is halfway between pink and orange, not really a spring colour more summer I'd say. But we are all wishing summer here so it's not that big a deal. As for the brand, it's Rimmel which has always done well, there's been no major disappointments so let's hope this isn't the first...

GOT Challenge: Texture.

Now it's been quite a while since a GOT challenge has been participated in, probably due to the other posts which have been created and then just HAVE to be put up because they need to be seen straight away. (Not really that's just me being silly.) Anyway onto the actual posts, it's going to be a flying visit with a textured polish:
It doesn't come as a great surprise that it's a Sally Hansen Sugar Coat polish as these were very heavily featured a while back in a series of blog posts. (They can be found here, here, here and finally here!) Sugar Coat polishes went down really well as the effect came out much better than anticipated, so much so I'd go and check for them in the pound shops. Bubble Plum was purchased and never used so it's from the great pile of unused polishes.

April's Polish Party: Inspiration from another Party Polish member!

It's getting better and better every time I do a Polish Party post as the weather is beautiful at the moment. Probably due to the fact it's getting nearer and nearer summer which I may be a tad excited for! April's theme is a manicure inspired by another Polish Party member meaning another excuse to look through all their lovely blogs for a manicure that would inspire me or I could recreate. My inspiration by Big Jig Nails! in the form of their March's Party Polish: Spring as it looked super cute and a really pretty simple design. Let's give it a go:
Not one for holding back, I chose colours that would contrast each other well so they'd stand out. They are 60 Straw-ready by Sally Hansen's Insta-Dry and 101 Snow me white by Sinful colors, these are both new editions to the already massive nail polish stash. Here's the base coat:

Spring Colour Recommendations - Guest Post

It's spring finally so I've done a little post on colour choices for your nails this time of year, instead of the usual GOT challenge. Hopefully it'll brighten up your day as they are very sweet colours and there in skittle manicure formation!

Now today's full post requires a little bit of work on your half, as it's a guest post on Em's Little Corner in this lovely little post Guest Post by Grace from Addicted To Nails... so why don't you head on over?

GOT Challenge: Pastel

Hello, it's that time of the week again! But it's going to be rather a quick post seeing as I've got to go out again in just a moment - sorry. Today's theme is pastel which is quite surprising that it's gone so well as normally these colours aren't picked first when buying. However today has three very complimentary colours:
The names of these lovely polishes are; 503 Mind The Gap, Victoria by Rimmel 60 Seconds, 145 Porceline Pink by Maybelline Forever Strong and 320 Blue Sky by NYC in a minute. When planning this little post it was decided seeing as the last few that I could remember were basic colours, I'd add some spots on to the nails at the end!
