Sparkly and Pretty: Rimmel's Luna Love
They've been found! You thought maybe I'd see less of them now that I've moved to university but they've been weaselled out - it's the poundshops. So you'll still be seeing regular updates on the little bargains which have been located, and today's no exception with Rimmel's Luna Love from the Space Dust collection. It's so sparkly and pretty.

Last Minute Adjustment: Purple Reflects! and Snow Globe
This polish looks very much like a going out on the town combination, but reassurances it's not. When painting Purple Reflects! on to the nails it just didn't seem quite right like there was something missing, in the end it was decided the manicure needed glitter. Snow Globe was chosen as there was a need to test this one out as the other Sally Hansen glitters had been so successful. It wasn't sticking to the polishes list that had been created, the deviation was worth it!

Sister's Manicure Treat: Let's Get Lost and 3, 2, 1derland!
As soon as my sister arrived home, a manicure was requested. When anyone in the family is going out for the day or night, a manicure by myself is now part of the getting ready routine which is lovely to do and there's swatch photographs that benefit you guys also. Today's a first appearance from the Essence collection and trust me it definitely wont disappoint...

NOTD: Make a Splash By Rimmel and Alley Attitude by Maybelline.
As promised it's the first manicure of the week, which has been organised just so you guys don't miss out on your nail polish fixes. Today's nails is a combination of a normal coloured crème polish with a special effect topper. The topper was bought because it looked so amazing yet hasn't been used therefore it was top of the 'to swatch' list. Let's see some more of this lovely combination:

Going out on the town material: Rose Chic by Maybelline Colour Show
There's always those evenings that you are going out celebrating with friends and family - an occasion. When you've got painted nails but they just don't quite cut it for the event. Here's the polish to fill that gap, it's relatively new release and it's amazing for the amount of effort put in for the result that you receive. This little polish is called Rose Chic from the collection Crystallize by Maybelline Colour Show:

Barry M Collection: Top Five Picks
As far as nail polish goes, Barry M is up there at the top of the best brand list seeing as they are always great colours and effects, long lasting with the Barry M top coat and really opaque meaning they are going to be statement nails! Therefore I thought I'd give you guys a top five series of all the best brands (in my opinion) and Barry M just had to come first.

NOTD: Co-Bolt Blue by Sally Hansen and Diamond Glitter by Barry M
It's another nail of the day post as I am certainly enjoying doing these little insights into everyday nail varnish combinations on my nails! It means showing you the polishes which are well loved and great to wear on your nails, even though they are getting on a bit in their age.
It's 320 Co-bolt Blue by Sally Hansen and 350 Diamond Glitter by Barry M. Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri collection has been a massive hit out of the nail polish stash seeing as it goes on easily due to the fact that it goes on even and no streaks and it also comes off easily which is quite surprising as they aren't light shades. As Co-Bolt Blue is quite a metallic colour I decided to try out a silver glitter gradient, here's the results:

GOT Challenge: Valentines!
This week's theme is Valentine's. This one gave me a lot of ideas but not all of them where really feasible for my skills at the moment but hopefully will in the future! The idea that stuck was a glitter gradient, which I haven't done before so I had help from SheKnow's Glitter Gradient How To to guide me through all the steps.
Today's nail polish is a combination of a golden oldie and one from the Mount Untried. 222 Fuchisa Fun by Maybelline has been rumbling around the collection for about two months as it lost the competition to Pink Bikini from the Colour Show. 350 Diamond Glitter has been a staple in the collection for a while so much so it's been repurchased a few times... Onto the Fuchisa Fun review.

Succumbed to pressure.
When I found out from the lovely bloggers and vloggers of YouTube that the brand Sinful Colors was amazing, I did a little research to find the most popular colours so that I could try them out to which one of them was Cinderella. So popular it was put to the top of the list however when arriving at the store it didn't seem all that appealing therefore it wasn't purchased.
Yet I went out shopping the other day and saw Cinderella by Sinful Colors at the reduced price of £1 therefore it was purchased to see what its like and if it really truly lives up to the hype which was found on YouTube. Here's the first layer application...

Matte Suede - Wonder what that looks like...
I have to confess that this is another nail polish that was purchase and never used or tested on my nails until now... And I am saddened that I haven't seeing as testing it today was a complete success as the outside of the bottle doesn't do it justice seeing as it's a bit murky after accidentally breaking one of the nail polish bottles in the nail polish tin. The contents inside the bottle look a lot better on the nails!

It's called 933 Emerald City by good old Revlon and it was another nail polish that was purchased from a £1 shop which is the reason why the lettering has disappeared as it's damaged therefore has been sold onto the £1 shops. Hopefully it's still wildly available as it's lush. Here's the evidence to prove it, in form of the first layer:

UFO - Bright and Sparkly!
Hello readers! It's not a brilliant day today weather wise where I am sitting and typing this little post for you guys but the nail polish I have chosen to review today will certainly cheer you up or better put brighten you up. It's just such a bright colour and really stands out especially the nail polish which is the added effect, making your nails shine..
This is the base colour for my nails so that the lovely new glitter will be bold and stand out from other nails! The base colour is 440 Siren by Revlon which has been feature before on this blog... And the name is an indication of how bright it is, believe me! The application was brilliant seeing as it's quite opaque in it's first layer and easy to apply to the nails as the solution was correct consistency and the brush was simple therefore fine to use.
Still bright enough to blind the eyes?! These photographs show I need a slight improvement on my edges of nail lines as I have left a bit out - oops. Following adding the second coat, a top coat was added to strengthen the nail seeing as there going to be on the nails for a while. Then the fun starts as now is the applying of the orange glitter on top of the bright orange nail polish:
Doesn't it look fun and funky? The coloured glitter that has been added was a bargain at £1 from the £1 shop, it's UFO by Sinful Colors therefore it may be a discontinued line seeing as it's going cheap. But it's very very cool and a brilliant nail polish (if you can get your paws on it, then do so.)

Oops I did it again!
I managed to accidentally pop into a £1 shop and accidentally found some nice nail polishes, found my way to the till and accidentally paid for these lovely nail polishes. These £1 shops should give me a loyalty card as I am there so much and buying things especially nail polish, I am such a sucker for the fact that everything's only £1. They saw me coming.
The reason for them being only a £1 is that they are outdated seasonal colours or that the collection has been discontinued therefore these are going to be harder to find if they need replacing. These three nail polishes which were purchased are UFO by Sinful Colors which looks amazing it's bright orange glitter in many different sizes so I am buzzing to try that out! Next is yet another magnetic nail polish - I am obsessed at the moment called Red-y Response by Sally Hansen. It is the same pattern as Silver Elements which is already in the collection but the colour is fab and much red-er in colour than in the photograph. The final nail polish is another Sally Hansen which is 440 Pinch of Punch in the Xtreme Wear collection which I also love at the moment.
Now the next items I only realised they were there when a member of staff said that they were reduced to 25p each (I have yet to work out the reason why... I'll tell you if I find out.) but they just needed to be tried on the blog at that price!

They are Sally Hansen nail effects which are going to be amazing especially 360 All Laced Up to try out, the only downside I can see already is that they are for larger fingernails which I don't have so they are going to have to be downsize in some way. Any tips or tricks? Anyway for 25p each I think it's worth a shot and all of it will be shown on this little blog. I'll be back later on with the reviews and swatches, I just had to show someone the little splurge!

Crackle for a trip away!
Now I was setting this post to be put up on a certain day seeing as I was going away. But when I arrived back I realised that this didn't happen and there's been no new blogs, so here is what you guys where suppose to get two days ago... I wanted to paint my nails extra specially well so that they would look amazing with little effort and they'd last all the trip. What is simple to create an amazing effect on your nails? It wont come as a surprise that I'll be using crackle nail varnish, it appears in seconds and doesn't make a mess! I'll reveal the crackle nail varnish a little later on in this little blog but here's the base colour which has been picked...
It's recently been reviewed on this little blog and it made such an impression I am doing it again. (really soon after...) This little beauty is a Sinful Colors nail polish that I picked up in Boots and the colour is Savage which is a bright blue which is one of the many favourite colours I have currently. There is only one con I have to disclose to you guys today is that I discovered that the brush in this nail polish is a terror for dripping nail polish everywhere! And I promise it's not my poor holding skills which causes this. Onwards and upwards to the crackle nail polish, these crackles are probably seriously out of date seeing as they were purchased at a 99p shop but they are good quality, they are:
China Glaze - Platinum Pieces and Oxidized Aqua which are really really really glittery crackle nail polishes which look really great, the only downside is that they don't stand out as well as normal crackle nail polishes seeing as they aren't a solid colour. Here's the results...
Pretty crackle-ly and glittery! That's all my Christmas wishes rolled into one nail polish! Obviously the crackle lines don't stand out that clearly as others would but I think I'll be able to live with that seeing as it's glittery... They wouldn't be top of my recommend list for nail polishes but if you can get them at the price I did, I'd recommend them then. If you can't I'd recommend the solid colours by this brand instead.

GOT Polish Challenge: Pink!
Afternoon everyone! I am going to participate in a nail blog challenge which is a first for this little blog. Additionally there will be another first of using the nail art brushes I ordered, as I was originally going to wait until all of the nail art stuff had arrived but I just couldn't help myself. Oops! The whole idea of Golden Oldie Thursday is to sift through the collection and dust off old polishes that are still useful and really cool, this gets a thumbs up from my blog.
This week is 270 Hot Shot by Rimmel, I not really sure how old it is but it's the oldest pink I have used on my nails as I don't actually own it, it's my older sister's.
Even though it's possibly a few years old, a bit gloopy to apply but still a lovely rich pink on the nails. It's lovely and glossy as a polish probably due to the fact that it's from Rimmel which are always on top form. Sadly possibly this may not be used again seeing as mentioned earlier it's a tad gloopy to apply...
Here's the second part of this little post, the first attempt at a nail art as the nail art brushes arrived this afternoon. (It's not to fancy.) Seeing as silver goes with basically everything, the layer over the top is silver and it's got silver glitter as well. (Too much of a glitter addict!)

Youtube discovery: Part Two.
Here's the second part of this little series which is going on at the moment. It's a little review of a new brand which I have discovered thanks to the wonder that is Youtube and all the lovely people who chat and give you tips on general stuff and life. The grand discovery was the American brand Sinful Colors which until now I haven't reviewed. This nail polish makes the last bright colour by Sinful Colors seem pale and boring as this one is crazy...
Just look at the amount of glitter! It certainly lives up to the name of the polish - Nail Junkie. There are many different colours of glitter in this nail polish which include blue, purple, silver and possibly green. Only downside at the first coat was that the nail polish itself isn't very opaque as you see here:
The upside here is that the nail polish brush is brilliant combined with the thickness of the polish itself means that the glitter is well distributed so there's not areas of loads of glitter and other areas with nothing else. Here's the second coat:
A little bit better with the second coat, but as I am a total glitter addict there's going to be a third coat!
That is definitely the nail varnish for a nail varnish junkie! Also definitely for a glitter junkie! Another brilliant nail polish from Sinful Colors, only one more left in the mini-series about Sinful Colors which is a sad thing...

A lovely christmas present review.
Hello! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Today being the day after Christmas, I thought you'd all like something to entertain you for a few minutes so I am going to show you two of my brilliant presents in order to create this lovely nail effect. I am not bragging either! Here we go...
These are the varnishes I have used to create these nails; Berry Juicy by Sally Hansen, Base & Top Coat by Barry M and SNP1 White by Barry M. There are two colours due to the fact that SNP1 White was tried out by itself, then realising that it's an effect therefore not good enough coverage by itself. So a base colour was chosen.
First base coat completed. On to the next as it's really needed to make the colour shine through.

Right now that the base coat is completed the effect is going to be put on top. As for reviewing Berry Juicy by Sally Hansen, it's a brilliant light pale pink but it's held back by the fact that you need three coats as it can come out a bit streaky when just one or two coats. The application is lovely goes on easily! Therefore good nail polish if you have the time to apply it.
The fun part - adding the effects on top of it! Anyone who knows me, knows that I love glitter on top of the colours. This effect was a range of colour sequins in a light white colour polish that doesn't really show up by itself but is great to put on top of others. Colours of the sequins include; green, yellow, red, blue, silver and gold. Luckily this means you can put it with any other colour!!! I am just too excited by this fact. So I'd definitely pick this nail effect for painting your nails if you're going out to a Christmas party, meeting up with friends or just because you love glitter nail polish like me...
