Venture into OPI...

OPI as a brand of nail polishes has always been the dream seeing as they are always raved about by many nail polish bloggers and normal bloggers alike. However the price tag as well as the availability has always put me off seeing as it doesn't really seem worth it despite many lovely blog photographs and posts disagreeing. But recently some OPI's have been picked up locally at a fraction of the retail price therefore they are going to be tried...

NOTD: Make a Splash By Rimmel and Alley Attitude by Maybelline.

As promised it's the first manicure of the week, which has been organised just so you guys don't miss out on your nail polish fixes. Today's nails is a combination of a normal coloured crème polish with a special effect topper. The topper was bought because it looked so amazing yet hasn't been used therefore it was top of the 'to swatch' list. Let's see some more of this lovely combination:

A little update and a sneak peak at the upcoming manicures!

The last few weeks have been a little sporadic so a little update was well overdue. The reasoning for the schedule some times getting missed is that work is currently being changed as well as personally switching jobs at the same time - just a little hectic to say the least! So today's a promise for more swatches and post as well as reassurance through a sneak peek at what's coming up soon...

A litte dotty nail art: Grey Matter and Blue Eyed Girl by Rimmel with Kiwi by Barry M

The last two or three days has been lovely weather so much so that I've been sat outside in the sun doing work instead of wasting the summer sun by sitting inside. And today's nail polish post has been no exception to the new work space. It probably inspired the manicure rather than hindering it. So let's get into detail over today's nail art!

Top Picks: Blue and Navy

Navy is probably one of the all time favourite colours (and blue). It appears on nails, it's the colour of all my clothing, most of the stuff I own is this colour. The only thing that isn't navy/blue is my actual room seeing as that might be a little dark if it was navy. So it'll come as no surprise that there's a whole post dedicated to the top picks of the blue polishes in the stash including the favourites and the most used polishes.

A Fresh Bright Blue: Rimmel's Too Cool To Tango

Today is Saturday and this is going to be a swatch post, making this swatch Saturday! It's another Rimmel polish which was done by pure accident, it's not pure love and I promise some different brands next week for a change. Too Cool To Tango is a brilliant pastel blue with a slight edge seeing as it's a little bit brighter than a normal pastel making it perfect for summer. (Instead of the spring pastels.) Shall we see more of this lovely polish?

A Few Favourites: Rimmel!

Seeing as Rimmel may have appeared in a little rave about underrated polishes recently, I thought would be a brilliant idea to demonstrate total love for the brand by showing a few favourites that are regularly used. Therefore confirming my appreciation. As well as this, the colours involved are very much summer orientated so can be used from now until the first sign of autumn. So shall we get down to it?

Some Brilliant But Underrated Nail Polish Brands.

Today is a showcase for the brilliant polishes held within the giant stash, that can sometimes be neglected or overlooked either by myself or the general nail polish community. They are very opaque polishes, easy to apply and overall long lasting on the nails. You want to see these polishes? Okay, here we go...

What a name: Waikiki by Barry M.

Matte as an effect has always be a 'meh', never really catching any attention in the nail polish stash seeing as it never really appeared to make a truly different effect on the nails. Yet when the beloved Barry M released some bold and bright matte polishes, they were picked up on the radar. Even purchased and given a go:

June Favourites!

Seeing as May's favourite are very much related to June's favourite nail polishes instead of churning out the same old polishes and boring you guys to death, I thought it would be better highlight some completed manicures which have been thoroughly loved in the month of June. Some by Addicted To Nails... and some by other brilliant nail artists!

Could be Similar to Pacific Blue?: Loafer Love For You by Rimmel

Pacific Blue by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear is a nail polish wonder, it's be famous ever since this little blog was started and if I was ever to pop to America this would be top of the list. However Sally Hansen has decided to reformulate there Xtreme Wear line including this one (causing a lot of outrage across the nail polish community) so it's likely Pacific Blue wont be joining the collection. Yet Rimmel's Loafer Love for You is strikingly similar and wont cost a plane ticket to pick it up.

Another Cute Pastel: Barry M's Sugar Apple.

Pastels are just so cute, as they freshen up the nails from the normal bold and brave colours, as well as the occasional nude and natural colours.  Today's post is no exception to these lovely colours despite the fact it's now summer and not spring. Yippee!  Normally pink and blue pastels take priority in the colour collection, however it's a fresh new colour today as well.
