Succumbed to pressure.

When I found out from the lovely bloggers and vloggers of YouTube that the brand Sinful Colors was amazing, I did a little research to find the most popular colours so that I could try them out to which one of them was Cinderella. So popular it was put to the top of the list however when arriving at the store it didn't seem all that appealing therefore it wasn't purchased.
Yet I went out shopping the other day and saw Cinderella by Sinful Colors at the reduced price of £1 therefore it was purchased to see what its like and if it really truly lives up to the hype which was found on YouTube. Here's the first layer application...

To be totally honest at this point in the application of Cinderella, I wasn't too happy as it's not really opaque at all and most other nail polishes I own are dark or bright meaning their pretty opaque when applying the first coat. However it's really popular so will apply a second coat to see if it gets any better.
That is a definite improvement as the colour which was shown in the bottle is coming through which is liked by myself. What's really coming through now is the simmer of the nail polish which is silver and also a little pink which ties in strongly with the blue dress of Cinderella herself. The photographs were collected together seeing as there are so many in this little post... Here's the next set with the final third layer.

Mighty fine. Much better result than was expected after the application of the first layer, it's a good nail polish as it's very easy to apply as the solution is just right thickness and the brush doesn't drip like other Sinful Color polishes do. It's not however my personal cup of tea as it's not bold enough in colour or effect, however it may come in useful for other members of the family as they probably would. Therefore I am a liker of this colour and a lover of the brand, but not a lover of this colour as much as YouTube is - sorry.

  1. I love Cinderella, but I wear it over a more solid pale blue as I think, like you, it's not bold enough on it's own! Xx

    1. I'll definitely try that to get a bolder colour out of it. :)

  2. I agree, best if you but two layers over a bright baby blue. It sings in the sunshine and its quite gorgeous

  3. Yeah this one's MEGA sheer. The first time I wore it, it took me FIVE coats before I was happy. Now I layer!
